Marcelo Araújo da Silva
Prof. Marcelo Araujo da Silva has a degree in Civil Engineering (1993), a Master's and PhD degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1997 and 2000) in collaboration with the University of Iowa in the United States of America. He concluded some periods of researching as a post-doctoral research fellow. He is currently a professor of Aerospace Structures at the Federal University of ABC. He has 25 years of experience in Engineering, with emphasis on Structural Engineering and Foundations, working mainly with structural dynamics, stability theory, nonlinear analysis, structural reliability, computational methods, machine foundations, transmission of electricity, telecommunications towers and prefabricated works in reinforced concrete.
