Otto Tavera-Cabrera
Born and raised in Mexico City, showed a keen interest in science from a young age. Coursed two simultaneous majors (computer systems engineer/medical doctor) both which were finished on time and cum laude. Started research in neurological effects of hyperglycaemia at the neuromorphology laboratory at the anatomy department at the national university\'s medical school. Later on continued working on sugar sweetened beverages and their intestinal effects at the morphology and toxicology lab, cell and tissue biology department, at the same school and university. Subjects of interest include nutrition, metabolism of carbohydrates and human-environment interactions in terms of food and feeding.
