Ying Fan

Prof. Ying Fan got her Ph.D. degree in system engineering. She is currently a professor and the director at the Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research (CEEP) in the Institute of Policy and Management, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She was elected as the vice president of the Chinese Society of Optimization, Overall Planning, and Economic Mathematics (OOPEM) since 2010. She visited the department of economics at Cornell University in the U.S. as a visiting scholar from 2004 to 2005. Her research and teaching field include energy economics, Energy-Environment-Economy system modeling, energy, and environmental policy. She has carried out over 40 research projects and published 7 books and over 120 papers in peer-reviewed journals. She has received important awards, such as a research grant for distinguished young scientists sponsored by the National Science Foundation of China (NSFC), CAS Hundred Talents Program sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
