Dr. Sonali Singh is currently working as Pharmacy Officer at Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital, New Delhi, India. She obtained her BA degree from Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur, India and MA degree from Bundelkhand University, Jhansi. She received her doctoral degree in Pharmaceutics from the Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. She was awarded with 'GYTI-2017 Award” for her excellent Ph.D. research work in the field of theranostic nanomedicine for brain cancer therapy. She also received several research fellowships 'Junior and Senior Research Fellowship 2013-16 (Ph.D.) from University Grants Commission, New Delhi”, 'Junior Research Fellowship 2012-13, under the Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi', and 'GATE scholarship 2009-11 (M. Pharm.) from Ministry of Human Resource and Development, New Delhi”. After her Ph.D. degree, she worked as Assistant Professor in the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow, India. She also gained experience as Post-Doctoral Research Associate at Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering and Technology, Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, India. Dr. Sonali Singh's area of research is mainly focused on theranostic nanomedicine systems such as liposomes, micelles, polymeric nanoparticles, and silica nanoparticles to improve the diagnosis and treatment of cancers.
