Telma C. F. Fonseca is currently adjunct professor at the Post-Graduate Program in Nuclear Sciences and Techniques of the UFMG in Belo Horizonte - Brazil. She spent three years as Post-Doc Researcher at the Centro de Desenvolvimento da Tecnologia Nuclear CDTN/CNEN em BH/MG, Brazil from 2014 to 2017. She got her Ph.D degree in January of 2014 at the Biomedical Sciences faculty - Dep. of Oncology - Exp. Radiotherapy Section - at K.U.Leuven - Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium. She worked as PhD researcher in the Laboratory of Anthropogammametry - AGM Radiation Protection Dosimetry and Calibrations group (RDC) Studiecentrum voor Kernenergie - Centre d\'Etude de l\'Energie Nucleaire - SCK-CEN. She got, with her PhD thesis \"Improvement of in vivo measurements by development and application of a 3D human body library based on Polygonal Mesh Surfaces for WBC set-up calibration\", the Award of the \"Laurent Exmelin\" from PROCORAD - Association for the Promotion of Quality Control in Radiotoxicological Analysis, in 2015. She has a long-standing interest in internal dosimetry, dose calculation in radiotherapy and nano-dosimetry with particular interesting in computational models and Monte Carlo codes and especially mathematical calculation.
