Usma Iftikhar
Dr. Usma Iftikhar is working as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the Benazir Bhutto Hospital/ Rawalpindi Medical University, Pakistan. She is also a PhD scholar at the King Edward Medical University, Lahore, Pakistan. As a graduate of King Edward Medical University, she received her training in Internal Medicine from the same university. After completing her MCPS (Membership of College of Physicians and Surgeons, Pakistan) in Internal Medicine, she completed her Dermatology training at Mayo Hospital, Lahore, Pakistan. After the completion of her fellowship in Dermatology (FCPS), she served as a Senior Registrar and later as an Assistant Professor at Mayo Hospital/ King Edward Medical University. She has obtained a Certificate in Medical Teaching from University of Health Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan and her PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the King Edward Medical University. She is currently pursuing an MA degree in Health Professional Education. She is a member of the Pakistan Association of Dermatologists. Currently, she is working as the head of Dermatology department at Benazir Bhutto Hospital where she supervises fellowship students in Dermatology and is actively engaged in research and publishes papers in national and international journals.
