Mariany Costa Deprá
Dr. Mariany Costa Deprá graduated from the Federal University of Santa Maria (in Food Technology), specialized in Food Science from the Federal University of Pelotas, and obtained master and doctorate in Food Science and Technology from the Federal University of Santa Maria. Currently, she is a researcher at the Department of Food Technology and Science, Federal University of Santa Maria. She has published more than 60 publications/communications, including 20 original research papers, 12 book chapters, 30 research communications at national and international conferences and has registered 1 patent. She has experience in the field of environmental biotechnology, with an emphasis on microalgae and mass balance. Her research interest includes processes engineering with an emphasis on sustainability metrics and indicators and life cycle assessment.
