Sivarama Krishnan
Sivarama Krishnan is a member of the faculty at the Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai, India. He specialized in applications of lasers to study laser-matter interaction, plasmas on the nanoscale level, and coincidence spectroscopy on synchrotrons and free-electron lasers. Previously, he held post-doctoral positions at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Physics, Hyderabad, India, and IBM - Semiconductor R&D Center, Bangalore, India. He obtained his PhD degree while working at the Max Planck Institute for Nuclear Physics, Heidelberg, Germany, and graduated from the University of Heidelberg, Germany. He received his master\'s degree from the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, India.
