Dr. Ener obtained a Medical Doctor degree from Ankara University, Turkey, and has completed his Residency in Urology in 2008. He has been working as an Associate Professor of Urology at Istanbul Umraniye Training and Research Hospital, Turkey for the past year. Previously, he has worked as a urologist for nine years at the Ankara Ataturk Training and Research Hospital in Ankara, Turkey. Dr. Ener has had the chance of assisting as a bedside surgeon in many robotic urological cases including robotic radical prostatectomy, robotic partial nephrectomy and robotic radical cystectomy with intracorporeal urinary diversion. He also personally performed several robotic radical prostatectomy cases as a console surgeon. He contributed in many presentations and publications including robotic urology as an author and as a co-author. Dr. Ener is actively involved with a number of professional organizations including: Turkish Association of Urology, Turkish Andrological Association, European Society for Sexual Medicine (ESSM), and European Association of Urology (EAU).
