Aftab Sadiq
Dr. Aftab Sadiq is a Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of Wah, Pakistan. He received a BSc (CE) from MCE, Risalpur, Pakistan, and an MS and Ph.D. from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia, USA. His field of specialization is open-channel flows and his research work focuses on clear-water scour around bridge abutments in compound channels. He has served on the faculty of the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), and Air University, Islamabad, Pakistan. He has taught courses in fluid mechanics, open channel flows, hydraulic engineering, and water resources engineering. He has served as a consultant to various civil engineering design, consultancy, and project implementation organizations. He has worked on various civil engineering projects related to water resources, water flows, water supply, drainage, dams, groundwater, pumping, and others.
