Dr Lai is the Assistant Professor of Department of Rehabilitation Sciences of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Before he commenced his academic career, Dr Lai has been working in the Hospital Authority (HA) of Hong Kong for more than twenty years. He has ample experience in teaching, administration, clinical service and research which covered field of psychiatric and physical rehabilitation. Most importantly, he has been working actively in clinical research throughout these years. He had been appointed as the keynote presenter for a number of international conferences, e.g. the 15th International Conference and Exhibition on Alzheimer’s Disease, Dementia and Ageing. Dr Lai is an active researcher in behavior assessment and intervention. Moreover, he is council member of the Chinese Dementia Research Association.
