Prof. Gálová is a full professor in Biotechnology at the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences, Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (SAU). She spent some research time at the Wageningen University (the Netherlands) and the Agricultural University in Poznan (Poland). Actually, her research is focused on cereals genetic diversity on the DNA and protein level. She is also active member of educational and training facility for undergraduate and PhD. students in the fields of Biotechnology at the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Science, SUA in Nitra. She is coordinator and adviser of PhD. study program for „Agrobiotechnology”; coordinator of some educational and research projects; author and coauthor of more than 366 scientific papers, 253 citations.
