Emrah Kulunk

Emrah Kulunk is currently a PhD student at New Mexico Tech, USA Mechanical Engineering Department. He got his BSc degree from TOBB University of Economics and Technology, Turkey and MSc degree from New Mexico Tech, USA in Mechanical Engineering with specialization of fluid and thermal sciences. Mr. Kulunk has a significant academic and industrial experience as well as several published research papers related to wind turbine aerodynamics. His reseach areas iclude the computational studies and improving analytical techniques for HAWT and VAWT rotor aerodynamics, also to improve the efficiency and power coefficient of HAWT blades using CFD tools. Emrah has extensive experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MATLAB, STAR CCM+, ANSYS CFX, ANSYS ICEM CFD and JAVA. He speaks English and Turkish fluently and also German adequately.
