Edward G. Kostsov

He graduated from Saratov State University, Saratov, in 1960 (theoretical physics). He received the Ph.D. degree in 1968 (physic of semiconductors and dielectrics), and the Sci.Dr. degree (physical electronic). He is head of the Lab for Thin-Film Ferroelectric Structures of the Institute of Automation and Electrometry, Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Novosibirsk. His current research interests include ferroelectric and dielectrics films, unsteady processes in these films (currents, breakdown), device of microelectronics, microelectromechanical systems, electrostatic actuators, three-dimensional integrated circuits (3D IC) with optical interconnections, and sensors.
