Sanket N. Bhavsar

Dr. Sanket N. Bhavsar is a Professor & Head of Mechatronics Department, G H Patel College of Engg & Technology, Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat, India. Dr. Sanket N. Bhavsar obtained BE degree from Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya Engg College, MTech from IIT Madras, and PhD from IIT Delhi. He has 19 years of teaching experience. He has authored many research papers in various national and international journals and conferences. He has been serving as one of the Editors of the international journal “Research & Review: Journal of Electronics Design Technology”. He also serves as a reviewer for international journals and conferences. He has been an active member of the Technical Programme Committee and member of the Editorial board for various int. conferences in India and abroad. Dr. Bhavsar received a financial support to conduct research in the area of machining of hard materials under the scheme of Minor Research Project offered by GUJCOST. He also received financial support for the modernization of Robotics Lab under the scheme of MODROBS (AICTE). Under his guidance, Mechatronics Department organized four international conferences in the field of automation and mechatronics engineering. He has been actively involved as a chair person / Member of Board for studies for syllabus revision and other academic works at various universities. He has been invited by different institutions to deliver expert lecture on various topics such (e.g. \"Mechatronics: A Key to Future Technology\", \"Micro-Nano Machining\", \"Digital Image Processing\", \"Flatness Measurement using Optical Flat and Advanced Machining Techniques\", etc.) His areas of interest include manufacturing, automation, machining and mico-nano technology. Dr. Sanket guided ME and PhD students from various universities.
