Neeraj Panwar

Neeraj Panwar, Ph.D., is presently a Senior Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, Central University of Rajasthan India. He has postdoctoral research experience from the University of Puerto Rico, U.S.A. and the University of Aveiro, Portugal. He has had several research collaborations at the international and national levels. He has guided two Ph.D. theses and several master’s and undergraduate students for their dissertation work. He has published more than seventy international research papers. His areas of interest include magnetism and lead-free piezoelectric and electroceramic materials. He is also interested in practicing yoga.

The aim of the book is to provide the reader with a comprehensive overview of the current research in the interesting field of magnetism and magnetic materials. Some very interesting topics like erasing and retrieving the particular magnetic domain of a ferromagnetic thin film, the single domain behaviour of magnetic nanowire with dimension less than 100 nm, magneto-transport behaviour of Heusler alloys etc. have been covered.
