Perihan Ahmed
Dr. Perihan Ahmed is a lecturer at the Faculty of Science, chemistry department, Cairo University. Her research interest in the coordination chemistry of anti-tumor drugs and their complexes in solution. Her current line of research lies in the synthesis and characterization of transition metal complexes as models for biological active molecules, the spectroscopic studies of coordination compounds using ESR, NMR, electronic and vibrational spectra and the electrochemical behavior of the coordination compounds. She has worked in two national research projects on synthesis of novel nano metal complexes that act as anti-tumor and anti-diabetic drugs.
