Yuk Feng Huang

University Tunku Abdul Rahman

I am an Associate Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering, University Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Malaysia. My expertise is in the field of water resources engineering. My main research interests are drought forecasting, rainfall generator, rainfall trend analysis, rainwater harvesting, evapotranspiration estimation, climate change study, etc. I obtained my PhD in 2005 in the field of Water Resources Engineering from the University Putra Malaysia, and subsequently joined the National Hydraulic Research Institution of Malaysia (NAHRIM) as Research Office until 2011 prior to joining UTAR. Currently, I am the Chairperson of Research Centre for Disaster Risk Reduction (CDRR) based at UTAR. I am also a registered Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia since 2015, and a corporate member of The Institution of Engineers Malaysia.
