Dr. Safaa Najah Saud is a senior lecturer and research coordinator at the Management and Science University, Shah Alam, Malaysia. He holds Postdoctoral and Ph.D. in Mechanical/Biomaterials Engineering from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia focuses on design and development of shape memory alloys for biomedical and industrial applications. Saud’s is registered as a professional engineer in numbers of engineering associations and societies and has more than 10 years’ experience in Materials engineering manufacturing and design. He is the author of more than 55 research articles published in well-known and highly impacted journals. Recently, Saud and his research group developed a novel technique for the fabrication of SMAs, which aims to produce the most excellent characteristics and attempting to greatly reduce their limitations. He also felicitated with a number of golden and bronze for medals in many innovations and innovative national and international engineering and technology exhibitions. He is also an editor and reviewer in several well-known journals and publishers.
