Prince of Songkla University

Itthipon Jeerapan is an academic faculty in the Department of Chemistry at Prince of Songkla University, Thailand. He received his Ph. D. and M. S. in NanoEngineering from the University of California San Diego, USA in 2019 and 2016, and his B. S. in Chemistry (First Class Honor) from Prince of Songkla University, Thailand in 2013. He has been awarded a fully-funded scholarship from the Royal Thai Government to study chemistry, science, and technology from bachelor to doctoral degrees. His background experiences range from analytical chemistry, electrochemical sensors, spectrophotometric sensors, chemically modified field-effect transistors, electrocatalysts, porous materials, advanced materials for sensors and energy applications. His current research focuses on bioelectronics, wearable electrochemical sensors, and advanced materials for energy (such as biofuel cells and supercapacitors), environmental, medical, and electrochemical applications in various platforms, such as miniaturized, wearable, ingestible, and implantable devices. He is recognized as an invited reviewer for international journals, such as Nature Communications, Biosensors and Bioelectronics, Sensors, Energies, Electronics, and many more. He joined international journals as an invited editor and editorial board member. He is also a member of the Electrochemical Society (ECS) and the American Chemical Society (ACS). He has authored a book chapter and more than 25 publications (citations over 1,300, H-Index = 14).
