Cristina Elena Dinu-Pîrvu
Prof. Dinu-Pîrvu is Dr. Habil. in Pharmacy (2015) and a professor (2013) at the Department of Physical and Colloidal Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy (UMFCD), Bucharest, Romania. She received her Master in Biotechnologies in Environmental Protection from the Faculty of Biotechnologies, University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest (2018), and her PhD in Pharmacy from UMFCD (2004). She is the Director of the Doctoral School at UMFCD (2024) and a former director of the Research, Development, and Innovation Department at the same university. She is also a member of the Romanian National Council for the Attestation of University Titles, Diplomas, and Certificates - Pharmacy Commission. She has over 31 years of experience in physical pharmacy, development of smart, efficient, and safe biocompatible materials, development of bio- and nanostructures for diagnostic and therapy, and design and development of transport and release systems of bioactive principles from plants.
