Fernando M. Nunes

Fernando Hermínio Ferreira Milheiro Nunes is a graduate in Food Chemistry from University of Aveiro and a PhD degree holder in Chemistry at University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD). Currently, he is an assistant professor with habilitation of Food Chemistry/Oenology at UTAD and director of the Chemistry Research Centre - Vila Real. His main research lines include Wine Chemistry, Food polyphenols, polysaccharides and Maillard reaction. He is author/coauthors of 111 articles in ISI journals and 10 patents. He has participated in 25 funded research projects and supervised PhD and MSc student thesis in the fields of Food Science and Oenology.
