Luís Filipe da Mota Ribeiro is graduate in Oenology from University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD), Master Science in Viticulture and Oenology from Technical University of Lisbon (UTL) and a PhD degree holder in Chemical and Biological Sciences at University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD). Currently, he is Researcher in the Chemistry Research Centre of Vila Real, Food and Wine Chemistry Lab (UTAD), was Invited Teacher of Oenology at UTAD since 1997/1998 till 2014 and was a consultant in Viticulture and Oenology many years (1999-2007). His main research lines include analytical methods, wine technology, wine stabilization and ageing, namely fining, phenolic compounds, aromas, proteins and nitrogen composition. He is author/coauthors of 15 articles in ISI journals, 3 book chapters, 70 papers in conference proceedings and 18 technical articles is Oenology specialized publications. He is supervising PhD and MSc student thesis in the fields of Food Science and Oenology.
