Dr. Camille-Ann Thoms Rodriguez is a Lecturer in the Department of Microbiology at the University of the West Indies and Consultant Clinical Microbiologist to the University Hospital of the West Indies. She holds the Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, a Doctorate of Medicine (Medical Microbiology) and a post graduate diploma with distinction in Infection Prevention & Control from the University of the West Indies. Dr. Thoms Rodriguez is primarily involved in clinical bacteriology where she participates in the daily operations of the diagnostic laboratory and provides consultations on patient management. Her main area of research is on antibiotic resistance and she has conducted several studies in this area. She has co-edited one book and co-authored two book chapters, 16 peer-reviewed articles and 26 abstracts.
