Sameh Zaghloul
Dr. Zaghloul obtained his PhD in Civil Engineering from Purdue University, USA, in 1993. He is associated with several important societies such as American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), USA; Transportation Research Board (TRB); American Society for Testing & Materials (ASTM). He is a professional engineer (licensed in USA and Canada) with over 30 years of experience in the areas of Transportation Asset Management (TAM), pavement engineering and engineering economics. Behind him, he has several successfully completed research studies in North America and Middle East, among which are: California State-wide Pavement Performance Evaluation Research Project - Phases l&ll – Performed for the Division of Research of California Department of Transportation, USA (2000 – 2008) and Evaluation of the Automated Distress Survey Technologies – Performed for the Bureau of Research of New Jersey Department of Transportation, USA (2008 - 2009). He has over 20 years of operation management (managed operations with more than 100 professionals and annual turnover budget exceeding US$12 m) and over 26 years of project management experience (managed several mega projects in North America and Middle East).
