Mark E. C. Dockrell
Dr Dockrell is the Research Director of the South West Thames Institute of Renal Research (SWTIRR). He gained his Degree and PhD at the University of Edinburgh. He was a postdoctoral fellow at King’s College, Nephrology Department before moving to SWITRR. He has supervised a number of MD and PhD students in the field of the molecular biology of renal disease. He has organised a number of National Kidney Meetings and is a member of the Committee of the UK Renal Association. He is a member of a number of international renal societies and has acted as a PhD examiner in the UK and Europe. He has authored over twenty peer reviewed articles and reviews together with numerous short presentations. He jointly published a chapter on human renal cell culture.
