Jason Gordon

Dr. Jason Gordon is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Community Forestry at the Warnell School of Forestry & Natural Resources, University of Georgia. His previous work experience includes working as an Associate and Assistant Professor of Urban & Community Forestry, at the Department of Forestry, Mississippi State University. He obtained his Ph.D. in Rural Sociology and Human Dimensions of Natural Resources, Penn State University in 2010, his M.S. degree in Rural Sociology, The Pennsylvania State University in 2007 and his B.S. degree in Forest Resources, University of Georgia Warnell School of Forest Resources in 2000. Dr. Gordon is a member of several professional societies such as the International Society of Arboriculture, Society of American Foresters (SAF), Rural Sociology Society, International Association for Society and Natural Resources.
