Koichi Aoki
K.J. Aoki received his PhD degree from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1978, supervised by Prof. Hiroaki Matsuda. In 1978-1980 he worked as a post-doctoral fellow at Osteryoung\'s laboratory. He was employed as an assistant professor at Matsuda’s laboratory in Tokyo Institute of Technology. In 1990 he moved to University of Fukui and was appointed as a full professor of Applied Physics in 1991. He was retired from Department of Applied Physics, University of Fukui in March 2015. Currently he works as an emeritus professor there. Recently, he opened a private research laboratory, “Electrochemistry Museum”, aiming at solving “fundamental subjects of basic electrochemistry”.
