Elujulo Opeyemi has over 3 years of experience in the community development sector, specifically focusing on public and environmental health management. Currently, Elujulo is the Assistant Country Director at Young Volunteers for the Environment Nigeria, (Member of JVE Intl., Lome, Togo), and a Research Assistant at Blue Gate Public Health Promotion Initiative, where he focuses on influencing the health behaviour of individuals and communities, as well as the living conditions that influences their health in the region. Opeyemi is a 2018 CoalitionWild Ambassador at Global Youth Biodiversity Network (GYBN), member of the Environmental Health Scientist Association of Nigeria (ESHAN), and he is also a beneficiary and alumnus of the Barack Obama’ Young African Leaders Initiative RLC West Africa, ACCRA Ghana, where he was trained for effective civil society management and social work. Elujulo is driven by his commitment to ensuring healthy lifestyle of people and a sustainable environment, and one day he hopes to witness a sustainable, healthy and resilient society, where quality reproductive, maternal, new-born and child health is accessible to all, and where everyone is free from the tyranny of poverty that continues to hinder the country’s attempt towards development. He is always excited about any opportunity that allows him to give back to the neighbourhood, even while acquiring new skills that allows for the fulfilment of his career goal as a sustainable development expert.
