Alexander Berezin

Dr. Alexander E. Berezin received his PhD in 1994 from the State Medical University of Zaporozhye (Ukraine). He is currently working as Senior Consultant, Lecturer, and Professor of the Internal Medicine Department at the same university. His research focuses on the fundamental study of developing cardiac and vascular diseases, prevention and rehabilitation, risk stratification, biological markers, and guided therapy. Based on this research and training in cardiac and vascular diseases, he has received several awards and honors. He is editor-in-chief of five highly reputed journals and has been serving as an editorial board member of scientific repute. He has published 1050 original articles/reviews in reputed journals, as well as 57 books/book chapters.
