Laura Celentano

Laura Celentano received the Laurea degree in computer science engineering (summa cum laude), specialized in automatic control and robotics, and the Ph.D. degree in automation and computer science engineering from the Universita' degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, Naples, Italy, in 2003 and in 2006 respectively. She is currently an Assistant Professor of automatic control in the Dipartimento di Informatica e Sistemistica at the Universita' degli Studi di Napoli Federico II and she is professor of Fundamentals of dynamic systems, Modeling and simulation and Automation of navigation systems. She has been involved in numerous activities funded by the Italian Ministry of University and Research and cofunded by the European Union. She has been IEEE peer reviewer and chair of conferences' sessions. She is coauthor of scientific and educational books. Her main research interests are in robust control, stability and stabilization methods of nonlinear uncertain systems, modeling and control of rigid and flexible mechanical systems, multi-valued control design methodologies, modeling and control of aeronautical, naval and structural systems, rescue and security robotics.
