Sérgio Lousada

University of Madeira

Sérgio António Neves Lousada holds an International Ph.D. in Civil Engineering - Hydraulics. He teaches courses on hydraulics, environment and water resources, and construction at the University of Madeira, Portugal. He has published articles and books and participated in events focused on hydraulics, urban planning, and land management. Furthermore, he collaborates with the Research Group on Environment and Spatial Planning (MAOT), University of Extremadura (UEx), Spain; Research Center for the Enhancement of Endogenous Resources (VALORIZA), Polytechnic Institute of Portalegre (IPP), Portugal; The Centre for Research, Development and Innovation in Tourism (CiTUR), Portugal; and the Research Centre for Risks and Sustainability in Construction (RISCO), University of Aveiro, Portugal. Moreover, he holds an International master\'s degree in Ports and Coasts Engineering.
