Kim Ho Yeap

Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman

Kim Ho Yeap received his BEng (Hons) from Petronas University of Technology, MSc (Microelectronics) from National University of Malaysia, and PhD from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman. From 2002 to 2003, he worked in Intel Microelectronics Corporation. He was with the Pre-Silicon Validation Group, Design for Testability (DFT) team. In 2005, he joined Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Malaysia. He is currently an associate professor at the same university. In 2008 and 2015, respectively, he underwent research attachments at the University of Oxford in UK and Nippon Institute of Technology in Japan. Yeap is a senior member of the IEEE, a Chartered Engineer registered with the UK Engineering Council, and a Professional Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers, Malaysia. Since 2006, he has published more than 100 research articles (which include refereed journal papers, conference proceedings, book chapters, and books). Yeap is the external examiner and external course assessor of Wawasan Open University. He is the Editor in Chief of the i-manager's Journal on Digital Signal Processing. He is also a member of the advisory board and editorial board of various journals. He also serves as the reviewer for books, journals and conferences. Yeap has been given various awards which include 4 awards from Intel Microelectronics, the university teaching excellence award, and 18 research grants.

It is intended to provide information on the latest advancement of VLSI technology to researchers, physicists as well as engineers working in the field of semiconductor manufacturing and VLSI design.
