Dogan Ugur Sanli
Obtained his PhD from Newcastle University, UK. Studied sea level rise using GPS in his PhD thesis. In particular, specialized in vertical crustal deformation monitoring using GPS. Then moved into the area of GPS positioning accuracy. Managed to model both vertical and horizontal accuracy for relative-PPP and PPP. He also studied GPS positioning accuracy for rapid-static positioning for BERNESE and OPUS-RS software. On the other hand, he continued co-authoring sea level studies. He was involved in NEAMTWS Tsunami Warning efforts under the auspices of UNESCO. He was a member of Sea Level Working Group 3. Currently he is interested in assessing the accuracy of GPS positioning velocities with the focus on PPP derived positions from repeated GPS surveys.
