Dr. Feng Zhang (B.S. Zhejiang Normal University; M.S. Chinese Academy of Meteorological Sciences; and Ph.D. from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences) is currently Professor in the Key Laboratory of Meteorological Disaster, Ministry of Education, Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, Nanjing, China. Dr. Zhang’s research focuses on atmospheric parameterization and its application to numerical models. He has published on a range of topics that regard radiative transfer theory, cloud-radiation interaction, and climate model. His current research projects pertain to develop a new radiative transfer theory to deal with continuous cloud microphysical properties and its application in climate models.
