Jan Amanullah

Professor

After of completion of Ph.D. in 1994 at the University of Leeds I had the opportunity to work as Scientific Officer in Pakistan Research Council Islamabad (Pakistan). In 1996 I joined the Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Crop Production at The University of Agriculture Peshawar and now am working as Professor of Agronomy. During my carrier I concentrated on the issues related to dryland production on sustainable basis. Two national research projects were executed with main focus on the impact of tillage, cropping pattern, nutrient and soil management under dryland farming. My three Ph.D. students have worked under the umbrella of dryland farming using green manuring, life saving irrigation having organic and inorganic soil amendments. I love to work and contribute in that particular area of research.
