Cinzia Barbieri

Dr. Cinzia Barbieri received her degree in Agricultural Sciences (for Economics) from the University of Torino, Italy. Then she was awarded a two year postgraduate scholarship by the National Institute of Agricultural Economics, Italy. She became a Researcher in Agricultural Economics at the Faculty of Agriculture (since 2012, Department of Agricultural, Forest and Food Sciences), of the University of Torino, Italy, from Sept. 1992. Since that year she has acted as Aggregate Professor teaching: Principle of Economics, Agricultural Policy, Business Administration and, since 2016, Marketing. Her main fields of research are Agri-food system studies, Rural Development and Regional Agricultural Policy, and the Medicinal and Aromatic plant sector. She has 46 publications –books, journal papers, reports, etc.- and has had/has the Scientific Responsibility of several Research Projects, also funded by the University of Torino, Italy.
