Zhao Qu

German Centre for Higher Education Research and Science Studies Germany

Zhao Qu is currently a doctoral student in the department of Social Sciences at the Humboldt University (HU-Berlin) and she is also working in the department 2 of German Centre for Higher Education Research and Science Studies (DZHW) in Germany. She has been awarded a scholarship under the State Scholarship Fund through a rigid academia evaluation process organized by the China Scholarship Council (CSC) to pursue her study in Germany. Prior her recent study at the HU-Berlin, she received her Master degree in Management Science & Engineering at Dalian University of Technology – China. The accumulation of publications and research projects in fields of Information and Knowledge Management, Scientometrics and Information Visualization contributed to her experience as a research fellow in Germany. Now she is participating in several projects supported by National Science Foundation of China (NSFC) regarding to E-mobility development, which provides her more access to make a comparative study between China and Germany. She also presented various academic as well as research-based papers at several national and international conferences including 15th International Society of Scientometrics and Informetrics Conference, 2015 - Istanbul, Turkey; Modeling Science, Technology & Innovation Conference, 2016 - Washington D.C., the United States; Science, Technology and Innovation indicators (STI 2017), 2017 – Paris, France. Her research activities are currently twofold: while the first is set to explore the technological innovation in E-mobility with patent data and the second major topic is to develop indicators for patent analysis.
