Abdel Tawfik
Professor Tawfik is the Founder Director of the Egyptian Center for Theoretical Physics (ECTP) and of the World Laboratory for Particle Physics and Cosmology (WLCAPP). He is appointed as a Professor of Physics at the Nile University in Cairo, Egypt and serves as a Member of the Network for Nuclear Sciences and the Egyptian Network of High-Energy Physics (ENHEP) of the Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT). He is an Associate to the Nuclear Physics Institute of Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences and also an Associate to the Frankfurt Inistitute for Advanced Studies (FIAS), Germany. Tawfik was awarded with Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) in Physics and Mathematics at the Uzbekistan National University in 2012 and Dr.rer.Nat (Ph.D) in High-Energy Physics at Philipps Universität zu Marburg, Germany, in 1999. Dr. Tawfik was elected as Fellow of TWAS in 2012 and since 2016 is serving in its council representing the Arab World. He is a Research Director at the \"ICSC - World Laboratory\" in Geneva, Switzerland. Dr. Tawfik created great relationships with top research centers around the globe. He is a Leader of a Group of Scientists joining CMS experiment at LHC (Geneva, Switzerland), Team Leader of another Egyptian Group of Scientists joining the STAR Collaboration at the Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) near New York, USA. Dr. Tawfik introduced another Scientific Group to the MPD Collaboration at NICA, JINR, Dubna, Russia and a fourth Group to CBM at the future facility FAIR, GSI, Darmstadt, Germany. Tawfik is the author of two titles and about 163 research papers published in leading journals.
