Abhishek Parsai

Mr. Abhishek Parsai is a Ph.D. Research Scholar at Department of Management Studies, Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal. The MANIT is an institute of national importance recognized by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Union Government of India. His research topic is Service delivery in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Sector. Prior to registering for Ph.D., Mr. Parsai holds degree of Master of Business Administration (2003) from Xavier Institute of Management, Jabalpur and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) (1999) from Government Autonomous Model Science College, Jabalpur previously known as Robertson College. After completing MBA in the year 2003, Mr. Parsai has got experience of working with Ministry of Rural Development, Ministry of Drinking Water & Sanitation, Union Government of India, Department of Public Health engineering of States namely Delhi, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh & Madhya Pradesh and multilateral development agencies namely UNICEF, UNDP, DFID, FHI360, Plan International, Water-Aid. Mr. Parsai is a Board Member at a Non-government Voluntary Organization committed for socio-economic upliftment of disadvantageous sections of society. His areas of interest are Water, Sanitation, Hygiene, entrepreneurship development, Management of Small & Medium Enterprises, Agri-business Management, capacity building and research.
