Enrique Blanco Gonzalez

Associate Professor in marine biology at the department of Natural Sciences, University of Agder, Norway. He obtained his BSc in Marine Science from University of Cadiz in 2000 and received his MSc and PhD from Hiroshima University in 2006 and 2009, respectively. Since his graduate studies in Japan, the main focus of his research has been directed towards understanding the ecological and genetic interactions between wild and hatchery-released organisms and the development of sustainable management strategies to preserve the marine resources. He has worked on enhancement programs conducted on marine fish and invertebrates around the world. He has also supervised several student’s theses and contributed with many publications in this field.
