Hyun-Seok Kim received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA, in 2003 and 2007, respectively. He was a Post-Doctoral Researcher with the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he was involved with the design and fabrication of nano-electromechanical single electron transistors. He then joined Intel Corporation in USA as a senior R/D engineer during the period of 2008–2011. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Division of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Dongguk University in Seoul, South Korea. His main research interests are nano- and micro- electronics for the applications in sensors and energy saving devices.
