Miguel Araiz studied Industrial Engineering at the Public University of Navarre and he finished his PhD in 2018 at the same institution. His thesis was about the modelization and experimental development of a thermoelectric generator system for waste-heat recovery. Since 2015 he works in the Thermal and Fluids Engineering Research Group of the Public University of Navarra and he is member of the Institute of Smart Cities. He has collaborated in several research projects related to thermoelectric generation and refrigeration, thermal simulation and optimization of heat exchangers, resulting in 9 papers in scientific journals and 15 contributions in national and international conferences. He also teaches at the Engineering Department of the Public University of Navarra in subjects related to thermodynamics, heat transfer or cooling technology.
