Rima Isaifan

Rima Isaifan is experienced in heterogeneous catalysis with nanomaterials for air pollution control. She received her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Ottawa University in Canada in 2014. Her current research focuses on the characterization of air pollutants and their source apportionment. In addition, she focuses on the estimation of health impact of long and short term exposure to air pollution. She holds several certificates in Climate Change policy, finance, mitigation and planning from The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and The United Nations Habitat for a Better Urban Future. She is as well certified in The Implementation of Environmental Management System ISO 14001 from The Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management, London, UK. She has been involved in several projects related to air quality and climate change and acts as an scientific editor and panel reviewer for several proposals submitted to Qatar National Research Fund.
