Collins Ayoo

Dr. Collins Ayoo teaches economics at Carleton University in Canada and also works as a Research Economist at Natural Resources Canada. He has previously taught economics at Maseno University, and at the Universities of Guelph, Waterloo, Calgary and Ottawa. He attended the University of Nairobi from where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture and a Master of Science degree in Agricultural Economics. He subsequently attended the University of Guelph from where he graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Economics and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Agricultural Economics. His fields of specialization are natural resource economics, environmental economics, development economics, and applied econometrics. His research interests include agricultural policy, energy policy, water policy, economic development, the economics of biological diversity, and community-based management of natural resources.
