Dan Mihaiescu
Dr. Dan Mihaiescu (Ph.D. in Chemistry), is a Professor of Instrumental Analysis and Organic Chemistry, of the Organic Chemistry “Costin Nenitescu” Department, Faculty of Applied Chemistry and Material Science, Polytechnic University Bucharest, Romania. His main areas of interest are related to Organic Chemistry, Instrumental Analysis, Nanotechnology, Plasma Chemistry, Natural Products, Forensic Chemistry, Oceanography, GIS integration of analytical data. Currently his research is focused on the advanced nanocomposite / hybrid materials synthesis (magnetic nanocarriers, core-shell nanoparticles, silica-based mesoporous materials, biocompatible materials, biopolymers), characterization and applications.
