Actual Position: Specialist Sci & Technology Production and Innovation in Health (Center for Technological Development in Health (CDTS-FIOCRUZ), Member of the National Institute of Neglected Population Disease (IDPN) of Brazil, Coordinator of the Peptide Synthesis Platform (1992-2012) of FIOCRUZ, Scientist of Rio de Janeiro State (FAPERJ) and Researcher of the National Council of Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq-1C). Permanent member of the Postgraduate Program in Science and Biotechnology, Federal Fluminense University, Niteroi, RJ, Brazil. Coordinator of 17 national and international Symposiums/Courses and 35 research projects sponsored by national and international agencies of foment. Adviser to Brazilian Universities and Projects for several National and International agencies and Ad Hoc reviewer for more than 50 international circulation reviews. He is a guest Editor of a Special Issue of the International Journal of Molecular Science and Toxins (MDPI, 2022-2023). Editor of one book in Biochemistry, publication of 15 book chapters and more than 130 papers, and three patents.
