Vandana Sakhre

Born in April 20, 1971, Dr. Vandana Sakhre graduated in Chemical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Raipur in 1994. She obtained her Post Graduate Degree in Environmental Science & Engineering from Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, in 2002. She obtained her Doctorate Degree in Chemical Engineering in December-2016 from Rajiv Gandhi Technical University (RGPV), Bhopal (M.P.) Dr. Vandana Sakhre has over 20 years of experience of teaching, research and industry, which includes 15 years as Assistant Professor, 2.5 years of Industrial experience and 3 years as Research Fellow of CSIR Labs. During teaching she has developed various labs including Heat Transfer, Mass Transfer and Chemical Reaction Engineering and Process Dynamics & Control labs. The advance separation and research lab for M. Tech program was also developed. Apart from teaching and research work, Dr. Vandana Sakhre also worked as a Coordinator for the Department of Chemical Engineering from 2011 to 2016 and Deputy Examination Controller from 2011 to 2016 and Girls Hostel Warden from 2010 at Madhav Institute of Technology and Science (MITS), Gwalior. During her tenure as Coordinator of the Department of Chemical Engineering, MITS, the department started Post Graduate (M. Tech) Program in Chemical Engineering.
