PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY Mr. Adebayo Salako is currently a Geologist/Geophysicist with the Ministry of Solid Mineral Development in State of Harmony, Kwara State, Nigeria. Prior to this, he was a Master of Science Student with the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile- ife, Osun State, Nigeria where he carried out various researches on: 'Geophysical Investigation of Sections of the Lagoon for Benthonic Studies using Ground Penetrating Radar Techniques” (M.Sc. Group Project) Road Failure Investigation along Asipa – Gbongbon Road, Southwestern Nigeria using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and Vertical Electrical Sounding(VES) Techniques” (M.Sc. Group Project) 'Geophysical Investigation of some parts of Lagos State for Groundwater Resources using Vertical Electrical Sounding Techniques”(M.Sc. Group Project) 'Investigation of Groundwater Seepages in a Basement Complex Terrain Using Ground Penetrating Radar and Vertical Electrical Sounding Techniques” (M.Sc. Project) He has one published work on: 'Evaluation of Hydraulic Conductivity of Subsoil using Electrical Resistivity and Ground Penetrating Radar data: example from Southwestern Nigeria and a book chapter publication on Aquifers, Classification and Characterisation and working on an upcoming chapter on Groundwater by Intechopen Journal. He completed his Masters in 2015 and planing on furthering in his studies soon.
