Athanasios C. Mitropoulos
Prof. Mitropoulos was born in Athens in 1957. He studied Chemistry at the University of Thessaloniki and Physical Chemistry at the University of Bristol. Adjunct Professor at the School of Aviation Engineering at the Air Force Academy, Research Scientist at NCSR Demokritos, Professor at the Department of Petroleum Engineering. Now he is in the highest position of Institute as President of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Institute of Technology. Professor Mitropoulos research interests focus on the characterization of nanoporous materials with x rays and neutrons. He has published many Papers, Books Chapters, and Patents in his expertise.
